The General Assembly (G.A.)

What does the General Assembly (G.A.) entail?
The General Assembly (G.A.) is the highest and most powerful body of the association. At a G.A., decisions are taken in the interest of (the continued existence of) the association. Among other things, the board is accountable here to the association for pursuing the policy.
So, by casting your vote at the G.A., you help decide the course L.S.A. Mugusa takes!

Who attends a G.A.?
At a G.A., all Mugusa members are welcome. All members receive a digital invitation (convocation) for the G.A. 8 days in advance at the latest. Former members and employees of Leiden University are also welcome to attend the G.A., but they are not entitled to vote.

What happens at the G.A.?

The agenda of the G.A. will be attached to the convocation that is sent to all members. This way, every member can prepare for the G.A. All relevant documents will be sent with the convocation. Members are eligible to add matters to the agenda. Suggestions for the agenda are excepted up to 24 hours prior to the G.A. by sending an email to president.mugusa@gmail.com.
